Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
Ty Hook: I had done a 9 week training course at Michael Johnson Performance Center in McKinney in addition to training at school.

Ty Hook: This was my first time. I really wasn't sure what to expect.
Coach Schuman:You were MVP! What are your goals now?

Ty Hook: I wasn't MVP, but I did receive Combine King and Strongest Man. My goals are to improve on my numbers and be MVP.

Ty Hook: One of my coaches and I had received a letter invitation. My favorite part was the one on one's.
Coach Schuman:If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?

Ty Hook: I am interested in whoever is going to have me on the field.
Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?

Ty Hook: I like playing with the people I have grown up with. We have all gotten stronger and bigger every year. Goals for 2010 season is state championship and for myself improving on all the small things, to get more than 20 sacks, 35 TFL.

Ty Hook: I played baseball up until this year when I decided to focus on off season training and track.

Ty Hook: The intensity. If you really want to make a play, you can make a play.

Ty Hook: Outside of pre-school workouts and football, there is about 2 hours a day of weight training along with flexibility and speed exercises. I am adament about my diet.

Ty Hook: Acadmeic reputation and a unique football program.
