Top Prospect Analysis
Giles Chapman, Monte Vista HS, CA Class of 2011:
Chapman was one of the NUC’s elite performers in 09’, taking home the Combine King in Fresno and WR MVP at the Los Angeles Ultimate 100. Chapman went on to hone his talents at the exclusive Top Prospect Camp and the 2010 US Army All-American game. The 5’6, 144 lber can play multiple positions and is a terrific athlete. At the U-100, Chapman impressed coaches with his 30-inch vertical, 9’3 broad jump and 4.1 shuttle run, while also displaying tremendous talents as both a WR and DB.
Future Outlook: Chapman is a terrific student athlete and all a coach could ask for. This hard working athlete has a 3.7 GPA and has displayed kind of determination any successful team can ask for. His pure talent and athleticism have drawn interest from Dartmouth, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Rutgers and Wyoming among others. His overall role at a D-1 level school remains to be seen due to his lack of size. With that said, I have little doubt he will contribute at a d-1 level in one-way or another.
