Tanner Price, Westlake HS, TX Class of 2010:
Price, a 6’2 195 lb QB, put on a show at the Austin combine back in 08’. He has a terrific arm and does a good job of hitting his receivers downfield. Price is your prototypical gun slinger, therefore can guide his team into the end zone quickly. A terrific student-athlete, Price is headed to Wake Forrest in the fall, picking the Demon Deacons over Ivy League Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard along with other outstanding academics institutions like Stanford.
Future Outlook:
The potential is there with Price, but he will have to learn how to work more of a system offense. Gunslingers can become a danger if they rely too much on the deep ball, especially when playing a level up. With that said, Price is extremely smart and should have no problem adapting to the college game after a year of learning Wake’s offense.
