Travis Elliott Larry A. Rylo HS, KY 9th RB #34 | Elliott, 5’10 197, was the Strongest Skill Player award winner. A solid all around player, Elliott bench pressed 135 lbs 42 times, had an 8’11 broad jump, and ran a 4.48 shuttle. A power back indeed. | |
Kyle Fleetwood Parkview HS, GA 9th QB #67 | The winner of the Leadership award, Fleetwood is everything a coach wants from his QB. With a positive attitude, determination and a strong work ethic, Fleetwood led the freshman combine by example throughout the day. The 5’11.5 184 lb Fleetwood also did a good job during 1 on 1’s and had a 9’0 broad jump. | |
Gary Holmes Seminole Ridge HS, FL 9th RB #33 | A speed demon at 5’7.5 158, Holmes was the Fastest Man. Holmes ran a 4.47 shuttle, 4.45 40, had a 32 inch vertical and a 9’3 broad jump. This kid is the total package. | |
Jordan Jenkins Harris County HS, GA 9th DL #69 | Jenkins was awarded the Lineman Combine King following an excellent showing on the field. At 6’2 206, Jenkins had a 31.5 inch vertical, 9’4 broad jump and ran a 4.65 shuttle. Jenkins’ versatility makes him a unique lineman. | |
Devin Davenport Bell County HS, KY 9th RB #29 | A 5’9 155 lber oozing with talent, Davenport was crowned Combine King. Davenport had a 32.5 inch vertical, 9’3 broad jump, ran an impressive 4.33 shuttle, 4.51 40 and bench pressed 135 lbs 18 times. | |
Clifton Brooks Jordan Matthew HS, NC 9th DL #70 | The DL MVP at 5’9.5 282, Brooks was a man amongst boys. Brooks bench pressed 155 lbs 32 times and was completely dominant during 1 on 1’s, leaving little to no chance for opposing linemen to contain him. | |
John Theus Bolles HS, FL 9th OL #93 | A 6’6 273 towering inferno, Theus was the OL MVP. Theus was sensational during 1 on 1’s, using his overpowering size to keep d-linemen in check. Theus is the kind of lineman every QB dreams of. | |
Jacob Ingle Walter Williams HS, NC 9th OL #86 | The Winner of the Strongest Man award, the 6’2.5 263 lb Ingle bench pressed 155 lbs 38 times. A lineman with the freakish physical strength of Ingle will always be tough to get past. | |
Xavier Grindle East Marion HS, MS 9th RB #12 | Grindle, 5’10.5 190, was awarded the RB MVP. Grindle had a 28 inch vertical, 8’6 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 29 times and was awesome during 1 on 1 drills. | |
Derrick Bobo Whitehaven HS, TN 9th S #9 | Bobo, 5’7.5 169, won the DB MVP. Bobo did an admirable job during 1 on 1’s, locking down the receivers. Bobo also had an 8’3 broad jump. | |
Trey Gainer Thibodaux HS, LA 9th LB #69 | As the LB MVP, Trey will likely gain a ton of attention and it is well deserved. At 6’0.5 219, Gainer had a 28.5 inch vertical, 9’3 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 26 times and had great coverage during 1 on 1’s. | |
Matt Dobson North Florida Christian HS, FL 9th QB #16 | A smart QB who seemingly made all of the right choices, Dobson was the QB MVP. A 6’1 179 lber, Dobson had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9’1 broad jump, ran a 4.39 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 28 times and was an elite performer during 1 on 1 drills. | |
Travis Blanks North Florida Christian HS, FL 9th WR #21 | A solid overall player, nothing was blank about Travis’ WR MVP performance. A 6’0.5 174 lb standout, Blanks had a 29.5 inch vertical, 8’9 broad jump, ran a 4.38 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 23 times and perfected the routes during 1 on 1 drills. | |
Jon Moore Middle Creek HS, NC 9th WR #20 | Moore, 5’11.5 180, was the Dodie award winner. A non stop hustler, Moore had an 8’2 broad jump, ran a 4.61 shuttle and did a fine job during 1 on 1 drills. | |
Terrance Knox A.L. Brown HS, NC 9th TE #59 | Knox, 6’1.5 209, was awarded Overall MVP after total domination. Knox was in a league of his own during 1 on 1’s, catching passes with ease. Knox also had an 8’1 broad jump and bench pressed 135 lbs 23 times. There isn’t much you can knock Knox for. |
