Derrick Bobo is an exciting athlete from the safety position as he plays very physical and has a great on field awareness for the game. He has been very successful at the National Underclasssmen Combine and the Ultimate 100 Camp taking home the Defensive Backs MVP at each event that he attended. He has a 5.04 40 yard dash, 4.73 pro-agility shuttle, 8'3" broad jump, and a 28 inch vertical.
Further Analysis:
Derrick is a very versatile safety that has the ability to cover like a defensive back and play phyisical and tackle like a linebacker. He has a naturally ability to read the Quarterback's eyes which allows him to make the big plays. He also has the ability to run with receivers and go up and defend passes at their highest points. With the combination of Derrick's big time play making ability and the excellent program he plays for at Whitehaven High School, Derrick will emerge into a big time recruit.
