White Plains Sophomore and Junior standouts!

·        Overall MVP Jordan Lucas of New Rochelle is a ridiculously talented defensive back. At 5'11 165, he completely shut out the WR's during the individual period, had tremendous footwork, a 32 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump and ran a  4.31 shuttle. He has the makings of a special player.

·        Seth DeValve is a quick QB with a cannon for an arm. The Manchester HS product had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.44 shuttle and was light on his feet. Whether he guns the ball downfield or elects to run, DeValve is dangerous.

·        Joshua "Rolls" Royce (Rome Free Academy) is a gifted wideout. At 6'3 192, he has excellent size, quick feet (running a 4.43 shuttle), ran outstanding routes and came up with some good grabs.

·        Brian Wint (Sewanhaka) is undersized but has world class athleticism and a good understanding of the game. With a 4.25 shuttle, 4.50 40, 32.5 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump and dazzling skills during 1 on 1's, his lack of size is more than compensated for with his pure ability. Wint is definitely pain to drag down in the backfield.

·        Nicholas Boyd (High Point Regional) has awesome size for a rising senior at 6'5 230. As a tight end, he has quick feet, exceptional strength, good blocking ability and knows to make big plays.

·        Jalen White (Middletown) was definitely the best 10th grader of the bunch. The 6'1.5 184 lb receiver had an 8'6 broad jump, soft hands, ran with power, was quick and paid attention at all times. There really isn't much more you can ask for than this.

Arkeel Newsome Salisbury HS, CT 8th RB #65	Newsome, 5'6.5 147, brought home the Overall MVP and Fastest Man awards. Newsome had an 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.45 shuttle, 4.88 40, changes directions well, has good hands and works hard.
Anthony Greco Dover HS, NY 8th DL #80	Greco, 5'11 233, was the DL MVP and Strongest Man award winner. Greco bench pressed 135 lbs 21 times and did a terrific job in 1 on 1 's.
Justin Bynum Middletown HS, NY 9th LB #72	Bynum was crowned the Combine King following an impressive statistical showing. The 5'7.5 160 lb Bynum had an 8'6 broad jump, 26 inch vertical and ran a 4.60 shuttle.
Matt Geisler Pinebush HS, NY 9th WR #80	Geisler, 5'11.5 194, won the DB MVP. He ran a 4.67 shuttle, 4.94 40, was physical, quick and did a good job of smothering the WR's during 1 on 1's.
Boeing Brown Brookfield HS, CT 9th QB #75	Brown won the QB MVP and Leadership awards. A hard working, no nonsense 6'1.5 178 lber, Brown threw a great ball, had terrific footwork and played with a high level of intelligence.
Shaquan Howsie Trinity Catholic HS, CT 9th RB #71	Howsie won the RB MVP after taking the combine by storm. At 5'9.5 189, Howsie had a 7'9 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 15 times, ran hard, changed directions well and displayed good hands during 1 on 1's.
Thomas Marston Dover HS, NY 9th TE #68	Marston was awarded the WR MVP. Marston has good size, runs nice routes and made some nice grabs.
Nicholas Imperato North Rockland HS, NY 8th QB #51	Imperato took the 8th Grade MVP with a solid showing on the gridiron. The 5'7.5 142 lb QB throws a good ball, has nice mechanics and completed a good amount of his passes.
Jake Wodraviza Dover Plains HS, NY 9th LB #70	Wodraviza was the LB MVP. At 5'9.5 174, Wodraviza ran a 4.78 shuttle and did a great job in the 1 on 1's of neutralizing the RB's.

The National Underclassmen Combine: The Dawning of a new Era in White Plains/Monroe

The National Underclassmen Combine hits White Plains/Monroe area for the first time in history. Athletes from the local area will now have the opportunity to compete locally instead of traveling to Long Island or North, NJ, with the event slated for Saturday at Middletown HS.

Countless New Yorkers have attend the renowned Ultimate 100 Camp and Anto Almasin of Massena HS, was amongst the elite performers at the Top Prospect camp.

"New York always has good athletes, period", NUC CEO & President David Schuman stated emphatically. "Boston, Long Island and North Jersey are three of our better camps on the East Coast, so it is only fitting that some of those athletes and many more venture to the White Plains/Monroe camp."

Participants will showcase their athletic talents in the 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run. In addition to the official combine testing, athletes partake in individual period, including drills, 1 on 1’s, 3 on 3’s, and other position oriented competitions.

The with 8^th-9th  graders are scheduled the field at 8 am, while sophomores and juniors have the chance to shine at 1 o’clock this Saturday.
