LINCOLN, NE 11th grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Andrew Iddings Stevens HS, SD 11th DL #146	Iddings, 6'5 218, won the Overall MVP award. A tremendous athlete for a lineman, Iddings had a 9'7 broad jump, 27.5 inch vertical and ran a 4.67 shuttle. He was also a monster during 1 on 1's, using his athletic abilities to pressure the o-linemen.
Jake Gentile St. Albert HS, IA 11th S #33	Gentile, 5'11 186, was awarded the DB MVP. He had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'7 broad jump, ran a 4.39 shuttle, 4.58 40, had great hip movement, was light on his feet and displayed tremendous instincts.
Nakemm Evans Southwest HS, NE 11th LB #69	Evans, 5'11.5 187, won the LB MVP and Leadership awards. With a championship attitude and tremendous work ethic intact, Evans had a 32 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 15 times had great movement and gave an awesome effort.
Zach Mendoza Waverly HS, NE 11th OL #135	Mendoza took home the OL MVP. A monstrous 6'1.5 290 lber, Mendoza bench pressed 185 lbs 22 times, has awesome lower body strength and good technique.
Tannor Mroczek Gothenburg HS, NE 11th WR #39	Mroczek, 5'10 164, was awarded the Combine King and Fastest Man awards. An exceptional all around athlete, Mroczek ran a 4.3 shuttle, 4.37 40, had a 9'5 broad jump and 33.5 inch vertical.
Zach Martin Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 11th OL #147	Martin was the co-OL MVP. A gigantic 5'11.5 310 lbs, Martin bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, had great leverage on his opponents and good hands.
Raecheim Logan-Martin Omaha North HS, NE 11th RB #118	Logan-Martin earned the RB MVP award. The 5'7.5 172 lb prospect had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.5 shuttle and did a nice job during the individual period.
Chris Kitchen Burke HS, NE 11th CB #70	Kitchen shared the RB MVP with Logan-Martin. At 5'6 154, Kitchen had a 31 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.62 40, runs nice routes, displayed good hands and solid all around quickness.
Calvin Kenney Riley County HS, KS 11th WR #122	Kenney, 6'0.5 190 was awarded the WR MVP. A terrific talent, Kenney had a 35 inch vertical, 9'10 broad jump, ran a 4.65 shuttle, had tremendous hands, gets off the line quick and has slick moves to shake off the db's.
Matt Raymond Elkhorn HS, NE 11th WR #71	Raymond, 5'9 158, won the co-WR MVP. He had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle, runs crisp routes and made some nice grabs.
Matt McLeay Omaha Creighton Prep HS, NE 11th QB #52	McLeay, 6'0 189, was awarded the QB MVP. He had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, had a strong arm, was accurate and a natural born leader
Brandin Bryant Omaha North HS, NE 11th LB #43	Bryant, 6'0.5 229, won the Strongest Man award. He had an 8'6, ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times, is a strong athlete and has the potential to become a good DL.

NUC returns to San Diego!

The Wild Wild West has been a longtime producer of standout football players. Many of America's top prospects have come from this way, with a number of them calling California their home. This Saturday and Sunday at Eastlake HS, the National Underclassmen Combine will play host to the always competitive San Diego combine. Some of the area's best have attended in the past and with football's interest at an all time high, the best group to date is projected to take the field.

The star of last year's camp Jointa Te'i (El Camino HS) will join the Arizona State Sun Devils this fall. The Polynesian powerhouse put his full array of strength, size, athleticism and skill on display en route to winning the Overall and DL MVP. D'Angelo Barksdale , the 09' QB MVP, was scoped up by the University of San Diego, where he will play this fall. Barksdale played his high school ball at the very same field where the athletes this weekend will compete on.

"Between the weather, scenery and talent, the San Diego combine is one with few complains", said David Schuman, NUC CEO & President. "D1 talent is scattered throughout California for a reason. With the amount of players statewide and the level that these kids consistently play at, I see no reason to expect anything less than the best on Saturday and Sunday.

Current 8^th/9^th graders are slated to compete at 8 am and sophomores are scheduled to hit the field at 1 pm on Saturday, while juniors lay it all on the line 1 pm Sunday, April 25.

All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions.
