NUC Exclusive Interview with: Zoey Williams, Overall MVP 11th Grade NUC Houston

Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?

Zoey Williams: I alot running and One on Ones with other football players from my school.

Coach Schuman:Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?

Zoey Williams: Yes, last year I was a Runningback, I got honorable mention, and I expected to qo good but I did way better then I planned.

Coach Schuman:You were MVP! What are your goals now?

Zoey Williams: My Goals are To Keep doin My Best and to get better consistently.

Coach Schuman:How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?

Zoey Williams: My Friend's Dad Reminded Me about it, and My favorite part was 1 on 1s cause that's where all your true football playing ability shows.

Coach Schuman:If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?

Zoey Williams: Houston, TCU, Miami, LSU, and Texas

Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?

Zoey Williams: Highschool Football is where your lifetime friends are made and it teaches hardwork and responsibility. Some goals for my team is to get stronger as a team, and more communication on and off the field. Personally I wanna get stronger mentally, the less mistakes the better.

Coach Schuman:Do you play other sports? Tell about your accomplishments?

Zoey Williams: I Run Track the 100, 4by1, 4by2, and 200. My fastest 100 time was 10.80, and 200 is 23.46.

Coach Schuman:What is your favorite thing about football? what makes it a great sport to you?

Zoey Williams: My Favorite thing about Football is the character it helps you build during and after, and I'm good at it that's what make it great sport for me. I wouldn't play something if I wasn't good.

Coach Schuman:Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?

Zoey Williams: Almost Everyday I stay after school and some some footwork and speed drills and 1 on 1s

Coach Schuman:What are you looking for in college? Academically? football?

Zoey Williams: When it comes to what I look for in a college, it's not which football team is better it's which college is better suited to help me in my future.
