Jhurell Pressley to play in All World Gridiron Classic!

Mahwah, NJ (December 9, 2010) - Versatile prospect Jhurell Pressley of Bear, DE has signed to play in the National Underclassmen Combine's first ever All World Gridiron Classic.
The 5'10 190 lb standout proved to be one of the most diverse athletes of the 2010 combine season, winning DB MVP at the South Jersey Combine and RB MVP following the talent rich Ultimate 100 Camp. Pressley, one of the elite players in Delaware, has interest from a number of D1 programs such as Missouri, Maryland, Syracuse and Temple. He also ended his high school career in style, rushing for 850 yards and 16 touchdowns in eight games.
"Jhurell is the real deal and schools are starting to realize that," stated NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "The fact that he was able to win MVP awards on both sides of the ball really tells you something about the kind of talent he has."
Pressley, who is finally starting to get the mainstream recognition he deserves, is putting in extra time to ensure he will be in top forum at the All World Gridiron Classic.
"I have been working hard with a program called Flash Training," Pressley said in regards to his preparation. "(Playing in) the game will be a pleasure because I am originally from South Carolina (and) my family can see me play for the first time."
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic will showcase 114 elite high school seniors from all across the globe in a unique All-Star Game. Players from the two squads, Team NUC & Team World, will be drafted from the ground up by the coaching staff to ensure a level playing field. There will also be a full week of events leading up to game day for select All-World Underclassmen including 7 on 7's, linemen challenges and a combine.
More than 100 elite seniors have accepted invites to participate in the NUC All-World Gridiron Classic thus far, including Nationally Rated Defensive Lineman and North Carolina bound Devonte Brown (Fayetteville, NC), Oklahoma commit Kameel Jackson (Arlington, TX) and wideout Junior Pomee (Moreno Valley, CA) amongst others.
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic kicks off from Columbia, SC at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium Friday, December 31, 2010 at 6 pm ET. The game will be broadcasted on Fox College Sports.
