Darrius Sims Whitehaven HS, TN 9th CB #21 | Sims, 5'9 165, won the Overall MVP award. The gifted defensive back had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.77 shuttle, had great hips, good feet, did an outstanding job in man to man coverage and solid ball skills. |
Dannon Cavil White Station HS, TN 9th QB #105 | Cavil was awarded the QB MVP. The 6'3 199 lb standout had a 31.5 inch vertical, 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.55 shuttle, 4.62 40 and had tremendous physical tools as a QB. |
Vincent Hunter Whitehaven HS, TN 9th OL #101 | An absolute mammoth at 6'2.5 321, Hunter won the OL MVP award. He used his great size to his advantage during 1 on 1's, pushing around the opposing linemen while also displaying good footwork. Hunter looks to be a lock to standout at the next level. |
Brandon Cox Conway East HS, AR 9th WR #18 | Cox earned the WR MVP and Leadership awards after a terrific day at the combine. Undersized but loaded with talent at 5'5.5 147, Cox had an 8'6.5 broad jump, ran a 4.46 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 20 times, catches the ball well, runs creative routes and is a natural born leader. |
Salem Smith Christian Brothers HS, TN 9th S #22 | Smith, 5'10 179, was crowned Combine King. Smith had a 33 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.23 shuttle, 4.61 40 and bench pressed 135 lbs 28 times. |
Connor Harris Christian Brothers HS, TN 8th RB #39 | Harris won the 8th Grade MVP award. Undersized at 5'3 129, Harris ran an impressive 4.56 shuttle, is light on his feet, works hard and stood out during the individual position period. |
Javian Tunstall East HS, TN 9th RB #27 | Tunstall took home RB MVP honors. The 5'7.5 158 lb standout had a 29 inch vertical, ran a 4.43 shuttle, moves well with the ball and has good moves. |
Gerald Perry Whitehaven HS, TN 9th WR #28 | The Fastest Man award winner at 5'9 147, the speedy Perry ran a 4.50 shuttle and had an 8'7 broad jump. |
Jonathan Jackson Mayfield HS, KY 9th LB #97 | Jackson earned the LB MVP and was the strongest player at a skill position. Powerfully built at 5.9.5 189, Jackson bench pressed 135 lbs 33 times, ran a 4.54 shuttle, had well rounded skills as a linebacker and was coachable. |
Jordan Barrett White Station HS, TN 9th DL #135 | Barrett, 5'5.5 261,took home the DL MVP and was the strongest lineman. Barrett bench pressed 155 lbs 23 times, had good moves, tremendous strength and starred during 1 on 1's. |
