LONG ISLAND, NY 10th grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Thomas Kellecher St. Anthony's HS, NY 9th RB #54	Kellecher, 5'11 156, took home the Overall MVP award. Kellecher had a 30 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle and stood out during the 1 on 1's.
Matthew Heldberg Smithtown West HS, NY 8th QB #14	Heldberg, 5'11.5 159, earned the 8th Grade MVP award. Heldberg, 5'11.5 159, displayed awesome footwork and was consistent and accurate with his passes.
Gregory Charles Poly Prep HS, NY 8th RB #40	Charles, 5'6 163, won the RB MVP award. Charles had an 8'3 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 19 times
John Lovett Wantagh MS, NY 8th QB #15	Lovett, 5'7 140, won the Leadership Award. Lovett ran a 4.62 shuttle, was vocal throughout the event, worked hard and showed how to properly conduct yourself at the combine.
La Ray Smith Xavarian HS, NY 9th RB #66	Smith, 5'11 147, was awarded the Fastest Man and Combine King awards. Smith had a 31.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.24 shuttle and 4.58 40.
Aaron Gordon Half Hollow Hills West HS, NY 9th DL #80	Gordon, 6'0 245,was awarded the OL MVP. Gordon had an 8'0 broad jump, did an excellent job during the 1 on 1's and worked hard.
Thomas Wright St. Anthony's HS, NY 9th QB #70	Wright took home the QB MVP Honors. The 5'4 143 lb standout threw a nice ball, had solid footwork and a good football IQ.
Anthony Leggio St. Anthony's HS, NY 9th LB #74	Leggio, 5'9 222, was awarded the LB MVP. The powerful Leggio had an 8'1 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 25 times and was a force to be reckoned with during 1 on 1's.
Justin Zemser Channel View HS, NY 9th S #64	Zemser, 5'7.5 157, was awarded the DB MVP. Zemser ran a 4.68 shuttle, did an excellent job with man coverage, terrific ball skills and did a great job backpedaling in transition.
Jordan Wesley St. Anthony's HS, NY 9th RB/WR #19	Wesley, 5'11 178, won the WR MVP. A terrific athlete, Wesley had a 9'6 broad jump, ran a 4.61 shuttle, has good size, plays explosively and runs solid routes.
Joe Tustin St. Anthony's HS, NY 9th DL #77	Tustin, 5'11 267, was the combine's strongest man. The powerful d-lineman tossed up 155 lbs 31 times.
