Bowie's Jeremiah Hendy Caps a Sensational Baltimore Combine!

Jeremiah Hendy was sitting atop the throne at Good Counsel High School following an unforgettable day of football where the University of Maryland bound db dominated in every which way possible. The 6'1188 lb superstar had a 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.32 shuttle, 4.40 40 and was in a league of his own during 1 on 1's. He displayed tremendous quickness, plays physical, is a big time ball hawk and is a good listener.  Hendy's domination earned him the Overall MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards. UMD truly has a special player here.
Samuel "All Heart" Hartman (Thomas Dale) is a physical power house on the o-line. The 6'2 285 lb standout was impossible to move during the 1 on 1's, causing major frustrations for the opposing linemen and is a gifted athlete for a player his size. Even with a wide build and bulky muscles, Hartman managed to run a 4.51 shuttle and jump 7'11 on the broad, while bench pressing 185 lbs 25 times. Expect to see Hartman entertain D1 offers shortly.
Colin Osborne (Glenelg) is a powerful 5'9.5 187 lb running back. Osborne has soft hands, runs hard and has great lower body movement. Athletically, he is all a coach can ask for, with a 30 inch vertical, 9'8 broad jump, 4.25 shuttle and 4.58 40 powering his terrific day.
Wes Brown's Town
Good Counsel's Wes Brown is yet to enter his junior year of high school and already has offers from Boston College, Maryland, Pittsburgh and West Virginia. Not bad right? Brown's mailbox will soon be stuffed with offers from here to Timbuktu and he knows it.
The 6'0 190 lb standout earned the Overall MVP award after showing why he is such a highly touted prospect. He had a 32.5 inch vertical, 9'5 broad jump, ran 4.57 in both the shuttle and 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times and was unmatched during 1 on 1's. Brown changes direction well, has NFL-like moves, runs hard and has good hands. Wes Brown is a name to remember.
Ronald Darby (Potamac) refused to be in Brown's shadow, garnering major interest after nabbing the RB MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards. The exceptionally talented 5'11 172 lb half back had a 9'5 broad jump, ran a 33.5 inch vertical, ran a 4.28 shuttle, 4.37 40 and was an absolute phenom during the 1 ones. There isn't much missing here. He is headed in the right direction without a doubt.
St John's Jaylon Johnson held it down for the defense during the 1 on 1's. He jammed the WR's like a basketball, has solid strength, knows how to position his body and is your prototypical ball hawk. The 5'11 186 lber is an awesome athlete too, as his 32 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, 4.55 shuttle and 4.50 40 placed im amongst the elite.
Olajuwon "The Dream" Swearinger (also of St. John's HS) is named after one of the greatest basketball players in history, but made the right choice by playing football. The 5'10 226 lb linebacker has tremendous strength and is nearly as athletic as the man he is named after. He had a 33.5 inch vertical, 8'9 broad jump, ran a 4.69 40 and bench pressed 155 lbs 26 times. His work ethic is unmatched and there is terrific potential here without a doubt.
 Fantastic Freshman
·        Dorian O'Daniel (Good Counsel) won the Freshman Overall MVP. At 6'1 184, O'Daniel had a 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.39 shuttle, 4.59 40 and starred during 1 on 1's. Daniel is a big and strong running back that also has potential to become a solid blocker.

·        Madison O'Connor (Pottsgrove) is 6'6 303 lbs and no that isn't a typo! He was impossible to move during 1 on 1's and has the size of a college linemen. O'Connor, the easy choice for the OL MVP, also had quick feet and terrific hands, making him a player that is literally impossible not to keep an eye on.

·        Henry Jackson , 5'6.5 163, (Bowie) had a 9'4 broad jump, 29.5 inch vertical, ran a 4.37 shuttle and is light on his feet. The RB MVP also had good hands and runs very nice routes, making him a dual threat.
