Interview with Multi-Time NUC Standout TySean Norris

Coach Schuman: Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
TySean Norris: Yes, I've been to two NUC Combines. Atlanta and Little Rock 2010. At the Little Rock camp I won MVP for my position, Wide Receiver. I went into both camps with the goal of giving my best effort and being evaluated as one of the top athletes in the combine.

Coach Schuman: You were MVP! What are your goals now?
TySean Norris: My goal is to improve everyday and work hard to be the best athlete I at the next combine I compete in.


Coach Schuman: How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
TySean Norris: I heard about it from my father and my favorite part of the camp was the One on One drills.

Coach Schuman: If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?

TySean Norris: I am interested in Ohio State, Florida, Miami , Texas and Clemson.

Coach Schuman: What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
TySean Norris: It's fun, I like Friday Night Lights. Here in the South High School Football is big. My goals for my team are to win 2 back to back Tennessee State Championships. My personal goals are to be named Mr. Tennessee in 2010 this fall and after my Senior season play in either the Under Armour or US Army All-American Games.

Coach Schuman: Do you play other sports? Tell me about your accomplishments?
TySean Norris: Yes, I play Varsity Basketball at Memphis Harding Academy and Run AAU Track also in Memphis.

Coach Schuman: What is your favorite thing about football? What makes it a great sport to you?
TySean Norris: I LOVE Playing the Game. I Love Studying, Watching and Playing. Football is all I want to do. 

Coach Schuman: Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
TySean Norris:I do alot of One on One work and Patterns, Since the NUC Atlanta Combine I have been working hard in the weight room and working on my flexibility.

Coach Schuman: What are you looking for in a college? Academically? football?
TySean Norris: Academically, I would like to attend a University that has a good Sports Management Program and Pre-Law Program. Athletically, I would like to play in a football program that has the ability and desire to compete for a BCS National Championship.
