TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Risean Broussard, DT, CLASS OF 2010

As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.

Prospect:

Risean Broussard, Class 2010: QB, 6-2.5, 288, LaGrange HS, LA

Quick Writeup
Risean was one of the most physically dominant players at the NUC this year. He was the overall MVP in Baton Rouge and displayed amazing strength, but freakish and i mean freakish athleticism. A very athletic d-lineman, Broussard was awarded the overall MVP and Strongest Man award. The 6’2.5 288 lb monster had a 29.5 inch vertical, 9’4 broad jump, ran a 4.64 shuttle, and bench pressed 185 lbs 34 times. Broussard has outstanding athletic abilities for a near 300 lb player.

Further Analysis:
RIsean is fast, amazingly athletic, and incredibly strong.Period end of story. With over a dozen D-1a offers, he is a 3 technique if i have ever seen one. he has good hands, great feet and overpowering strength. How does a guy that big have a 9'4 broad jump...one way, he is explosive as heck! He is one of the top 3 DL i have saw all year. Big timer...

I dont grade guys based on stars or scores, I rate them on whether they can play!
They get 1-5 points based on how well they perform in each category. 6 categories with a max of 30 points to be scored.
