BV West lineman signs with KU
On Tuesday afternoon, Blue Valley West senior Dylan Admire towered over his peers during a group picture. Sharply dressed in a blue button-down shirt, red tie and dark sweater vest, Admire anchored the end of a line of BV West student-athletes celebrating national letter-of-intent signings. Admire might have been the biggest of the bunch — a 6-foot-3, 265-pound offensive lineman — but once he steps foot on the University of Kansas campus in January as a member of the Jayhawk football team, he’ll be just another freshman.
Admire made his commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks official and will join the program after graduating high school early in December.
“I think it gives you a big jump because you get there six months before everybody else,” Admire said. “You get to work out with the team, know the team and do spring football.”
Admire said he signed his financial-aid agreement for the second semester just before the Jayhawks’ surprising comeback win over Colorado. However, even before all the paperwork, Admire had been hooked on KU thanks to his relationship with coach Turner Gill.
“When coach Gill came in, I got to meet with him for the first time last year, and I loved him right off the bat,” Admire said. “And all the (KU) coaches, they’re really genuine.”
Admire started for 2 1/2 seasons for the varsity Jaguars and was ranked as the No. 6 recruit in the state by Rivals.com entering his senior season. Also on Tuesday, Admire announced that he received an invitation to play in the National Underclassmen Combine All-World Gridiron Classic.
Besides Admire, five other BV West student athletes participated in the signing ceremony, including swimmer Michael Glenn, who will attend the University of Massachusetts, and Alecia Kauss, who signed to play tennis at Indiana.

Eddie Meredith (CFC 'top linemen') verbally commits to Boston College: VIDEO

It has been a long investigative process but the decision has been made for St. Andrew's College Saints (Metro Wildcats) offensive linemen, big number 65, Eddie Meredith.

Eddie was offered by the Boston College Eagles and he has verbally accepted their offer.

"I couldn't be happier with the result of this long arduous recruiting process. Boston College is the perfect fit for me with their combination of academic and athletic excellence and i was thinking about waiting and checking out other options, but there really is no school i'd rather be at come the start of next year. I now embark on the long journey of my dream to become the best offensive lineman i possibly can at the next level."

Eddie was featured as one of the top offensive linemen by CFC last week. Here is a link to that article.

Head Coach of the Saints, Len Gurr, is happy for his player and wishes him all the best from the coaches and players. The same sentiment was echoed by Metro Wildcat president Chuck Richardson.
