News Notes and Notables from Nashville Freshman Session!

Jacquese Stevenson was literally at home on the football field with the combine taking place at Glencliff HS. Whether he had a comfortability factor or not, Stevenson was sensational and took home the Overall MVP and Fastest Man awards. The 5'6.5 133 lb DB/safety had an 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.55 shuttle and was an absolute stud during 1 on 1's. He has natural instincts as a defensive back, good feet and is a good listener. He still has time grow and things are looking bright.

Dionte Wells, also from the talent deep Glencliff HS, won the LB MVP. At 5'6 190, he has solid strength (he benched 135 lbs 21 times) and understands how to play the game. 

Juanya Smith (Smith Academy and no the school isn't named after him to our knowledge) was the best wide out at the camp. He has great hands, runs impressive routes and is a hard worker. As a coach, you have to love a player like this

Mt. Juliet's Caleb Hopkins is strong and quick. The 5'7 152 lb running back won the RB MVP after impressing coaches with his ability during 1 on 1's. Between good ball skills and his skill to change direction on the time, Hopkins is worth keeping an eye on.

Stephen Von Mann (T.W. Hunter MS) and Emilio Hernandez (Portland West MS) were two outstanding 8th graders who really left a strong impression. Hernandez  has astonishing size for his age (6'0 248) while Von Mann (a 5'6 150 lb DB) has a terrific idea of how to make things uncomfortable for an offense.

Nashville looks to be a rising football hotspot indeed.

NASHVILLE, TN 10TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
LaJuan Warfield Alcora HS, TN 10th WR #17	Warfield, 5'11 177, won the WR MVP. Warfield had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.42 shuttle, ran terrific routes, was quick with good hands and worked hard during 1 on 1's.
Alex Dale Memphis University School, TN 10th S #91	Dale, 5'9 172, was the DB MVP. Dale had a 30.5 inch vertical, NFL-like 9'10 broad jump, bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times, was big, strong and physical during 1 on 1's.
Condy Cox Austin-East HS, TN 10th RB #64	Cox brought home the RB MVP and Leadership award. The 5'8 198 lb standout bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times and hustled as if there were no tomorrow.
Radir Annoor Brentwood Academy, TN 10th RB #23	Anoor, 5'8.5 174, was the Fastest Man award winner. Anoor ran a 4.53 40, 4.36 shuttle, jumped 33 inches on the vertical leap and bench pressed 155 lbs 26 times.
Hogan Goodson Acola HS, TN 10th QB #48	Goodson, 6'1 181, nabbed the QB MVP. Goodson ran a 4.33 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 20 times, has good footwork, threw accurate passes and was easy to coach.
Jameel Hall Greenville HS, TN 10th DL #62	Hall had one heck of a day and won the DL MVP. At 5'10.5 250, Hall ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times, has great hands and a terrific understanding of the defensive line.
Riley Cathey Franklin HS, TN 10th OL #62	Cathey was the OL MVP. At 6'0.5 209, he had an impressive 8'9 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 18 times, displayed outstanding technique and dominated 1 on 1's.
Marcelous Odom Riverdale HS, TN 10th CB #50	Odom shared the DB MVP and has every reason to feel like a champion. The 5'7.5 156 lb corner back ran a 4.40 shuttle, has  quick feet, good ball skills and solid closing speed.
Kelvin Cofer Bowling Green HS, KY 10th LB #52	Cofer took the combine by storm and won the LB MVP. Cofer, 5'10 175, was a menace during 1 on 1's with good ball skills and is a hard worker.
Alexander Miller Franklin HS, TN 10th LB #49	It's Miller time! At 5'10.5 176, Alexander Miller was the co-LB MVP with good footwork, a tremendous work ethic and 20 reps at 155 lbs on the bench press to boot.
Charles Bell Creek Wood HS, TN 10th OL #84	At 6'1.5 313, Bell has the looks of a powerhouse. In this case, looks are not deceiving. Bell won the Strongest Man award after bench pressing 185 lbs 28 times.
Cory Batey Ensworth HS, TN 10th WR #22	Batey sure as heck baited in the scouts after his jaw droppong performance. The Overall MVP and Combine King, Batey had a Vince Carter like 37.5 inch vertical, 10'0 broad jump, ran a 4.49 shuttle, 4.60 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times. During the 1 on 1's, his exceptional athleticism, good hands, fast feet and listening ability simply made him in a class of his own. At 5'11.5 181, Batey does everything a team could possibly ask for.

Stephen Von Mann T.W. Hunter MS, TN 8th S #9	Von Mann may still be a youngster but MAN does he have potential! The 5'6 150 lb Von Mann won the DB MVP after bench pressing 135 lbs 12 times, running a 4.89 shuttle and working his tail off during the 1 on 1's.

This is everything a coach can ask for from a young prospect.

Shomari White Ensworth HS, TN 9th DL #70	The DL MVP at 5'10 203, White uses his hands well, knows how to rush the pass, was easy to coach and is a good athlete.
Elijas Turnage Signal Mountain HS, TN 9th DL #63	Turnage was the Strongest Man. The powerful 5'10 206 lber bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times and ran a 4.69 shuttle.
Emilio Hernandez Portland West MS, TN 8th OL #77	Hernandez won the OL MVP. The 6'0 248 lb standout has terrific size for his age, impressive technique and strength.
Caleb Hopkins Mt. Juilet HS, TN 9th RB #32	Hopkins dashed across the field en route to winning the RB MVP. At 5'7 152, Hopkins had a 26.5 inch vertical, bench pressed 135 lbs 23 times, had good ball skills and cuts well.
Austin Henrink Cleveland MS, TN 8th QB #10	Henrink 5'10.5 153, is a hard worker that refused to give up. During the combine, he hustled to the max and ran a 4.65 shuttle en route to winning the Leadership Award.
Juanya Smith Smith Academy HS, TN 8th WR #14	Smith took the WR MVP award after flying through the combine. At 5'11 162, Smith had great hands, ran nice routes and listens well.
Hunter Rivait Station Camp HS, TN 9th QB #19	Rivalt won the QB MVP. The 5'9.5 140 lber ran a 4.69 shuttle, had good mechanics, threw accurately and was coachable.

HAMPTON ROADS, NC 10TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
JC Coleman Oscar Smith HS, VA 10th RB #15	For the second straight year, JC "King" Coleman dominated at the combine, taking home the Overall MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards. Talented beyond belief at 5'5.5 165, Coleman had a 34 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.37 shuttle, 4.51 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 18 times and was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's. I would be disappointed if I didn't see this tremendous talent at a big time program in a few years.
Kwontie Moore Norfolk Christian HS, VA 10th LB #84	A stocky 6'1 242 lb powerhouse, Moore won the LB MVP. Moore had a 27 inch vertical, bench pressed 155 lbs 28 times and was physical during 1 on 1's.
Jacorey Robins Churchland HS, VA 10th RB #16	Robins took home the RB MVP. At 5'7.5 160, Robins had a 32 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times and showed great skill during the 1 on 1's.
Lorenzo Fields Thomas Dale HS, VA 10th CB #29	Fields 5'8.5 158, was awarded the DB MVP.  Fields had a 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.5 shuttle, 4.60 40. During the 1 on 1's, Fields had good feet, great hips and jammed the WR's during 1 on 1's.
Derek Taitano Bayside HS, VA 10th DL #101	Taitano dominated throughout the event, winning both the DL MVP and Strongest Man awards. The talented 5'11.5 285 lber bench pressed 185 lbs 27 times and overpowered the o-linemen during 1 on 1's.
Troy Butler Chesapeake HS, VA 10th OL #101	Butler was awarded the OL MVP. A monster of the midway at 6'2 280, Butler bench pressed 185 lbs 25 times and performed at a high level during the individual period.
Drakar Harvell Dinwiddle HS, VA 10th WR #65	Harvell had all the bragging rights after winning the WR MVP. At 5'9.5 187, Harvell ran a 4.38 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times, changed directions with ease and had great hands.
Sequan Gooding Oscar Smith HS, VA 10th WR #50	Goodwing shared the WR MVP award with Harvell. The 5'11.5 170 lb standout had a 32.5 inch vertical, 8'8 broad jump, was strong and created great separation between himself and the DB's during 1 on 1's.
Eric Enderson Phoebus HS, VA 10th QB #25	Enderson won the QB MVP and Leadership Award. The 6'1 181 lb standout is a hard worker with a good arm and supreme confidence. Enderson has a lot of great qualities.
Brandte McIntyre Bishop Sullivan HS, VA 10th QB #59	McIntyre was the co-QB MVP. Scaling in at 5'11 173 lbs, McIntyre ran a 4.63 shuttle, had impressive mechanics, threw a good football and was all around impressive during the individual period.
Desi Waters Maury HS, VA 10th TE #61	Waters won the TE MVP. Big and strong at 6'1.5 222, Waters bench pressed 155 lbs 11 times, had good hands and uses his body well. With the ability to catch the football and block, Waters has a bright future ahead of him.

Demetri McGill Ocean Lakes HS, VA 9th DL #97	McGill won the Overall MVP. A monster at 5'11.5 295, McGill bench pressed 155 lbs 26 times, pushed around the opposing linemen during 1 on 1's and had great technique.
Charles Clark Kings Fork HS, VA 9th CB #47	Clark brought home the DB MVP after a terrific showing at the combine. The 5'10.5 172 lb Clark had a 30 inch vertical, 8'2 broad jump, ran a 4.61 40 and smothered the WR's during 1 on 1's.
Javaun King Bethel HS, VA 9th LB #83	Javaun was sitting atop the throne like a king after being awarded LB MVP. The 5'11 171 lb King had an 8'5.5 broad jump, quick feet, good hand and strong hands.
Shyheim Swinson Landstown HS, VA 9th RB #34	Swinson was awarded RB MVP. At 5'7.5 203, Swinson bench pressed 135 lbs 23 times, and starred during 1 on 1's.
Deion Stitt Bayside HS, VA 9th QB #35	Stitt, 5'10 152, brought home the QB MVP. Stitt threw a great ball, remained patient throughout the 1 on 1's and has supreme confidence.
Temuchin Hodges Salem HS, VA 9th QB #32	Temuchin "Bucky" Hodges is a gifted QB with a solid future. At 6'4.5 189, Hodges won the co-QB MVP after jumping an 8'6 on the broad, throwing a good ball during 1 on 1's and maintaining consistency.
Ross Douglas Avon HS, OH 9th RB #24	Douglas won the Combine King and Fastest Man award. A terrific athlete at 5'8.5 161, Douglas had a 31.5 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.54 40 and bench pressed 135 lbs 22 times.
Derrick Green Hermitage HS, VA 9th RB #54	Green was the co-Fastest Man award winner. The 5'10.5 229 lb Green ran a 4.56 40, 4.66 shuttle and bench pressed 135 lbs 34 times.
Aaron Poore Ocean Lakes HS, VA 9th WR #36	Poore was the WR MVP. The 5'9 154 lb standout had great hands, ran good routes, a 4.53 shuttle and had an 8'9 broad jump.
Corwin Cutler Indian River HS, VA 9th QB #40	Cutler, 6'2 166, was the Leadership Award winner. Cutler busted his tail as if there were no tomorrow, maintained confidence throughout the event and  had an 8'3 broad jump.
Justin Watson Greenbrier MS, VA 8th CB #38	Watson had quite a day at the combine en route to winning the 8th Grade MVP. At 5'5.5 133, Watson had an 8'4 broad jump, ran an outstanding 4.45 shuttle and fought tooth and nail with the WR's during 1 on 1's. There is definitely potential here.
Toddrie Bugg Dinwiddle HS,VA 9th OL #77	Defensive linemen must really be bugged by the fact that there is no getting past Toddrie Bugg. The 6'1.5 249 lb powerhouse handled his business during the 1 on 1's, causing frustrations for the DL throughout the individual period.
Darius Johnson Dinwiddle HS, VA 9th LB #79	Johnson won the Strongest Man award. At 5'9 209, Johnson bench pressed 135 lbs a ridiculous 41 times.

HAMPTON ROADS, VA 11TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Mylon Blueford Indian River HS, VA 11th CB #34	Blueford, 5'10 153, was awarded the Overall MVP. Blueford had a 30 inch vertical, 8'7 broad jump, ran an NFL-like 4.10 shuttle, 4.57 40 and was a lockdown DB during 1 on 1's.
Sherrod Baltimore Friendly HS, VA 11th CB #35	Baltimore, 5'9.5 151, brought home the DB MVP. He had a 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.11 shuttle and did a terrific job during the individual period.
Navon Hobby Friendly HS, MD 11th RB #18	It's not a hobby for Navon, its serious business. The 5'4.5 133 lb Hobby once again won the RB MVP after jumping 9'4 on the broad, with a 32 inch vertical, 4.15 shuttle run and starring during 1 on 1's.
Lamonti Charity Booker T. Washington, VA 11th RB #38	Charity was crowned Combine King and also won the Fastest Man award. Gifted beyond belief at 5'5.5 153, Charity had a 35 inch vertical, 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.3 shuttle, 4.33 40 and bench pressed 185 lbs 14 times. Impressive to say the least.
Terrence Mack Hampton HS, VA 11th LB #60	Mack was on the attack at the combine, taking home the LB MVP. The 6'0 205 lb Mack had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times and did a nice job during 1 on 1's.
Mike Hayes Bayside HS, VA 11th WR #15	Hayes won the WR MVP. Long and lean at 6'1 156, Hayes ran solid routes, had a good hands, a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.4 shuttle and 4.57 40.
Gene Holloman Jr. Bayside HS, VA 11th WR #19	Holloman was the co-WR MVP. At 6'0 155, Holloman had a 28.5 inch vertical, 8'5 broad jump and performed at a high level during 1 on 1's.
Larry Joshua Landstown HS, VA 11th QB #54	Joshua took home the QB MVP. A prototypical dual threat at 5'10.5 181, Joshua had a 35 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.29 shuttle and threw a great ball with accuracy during 1 on 1's. He really has a lot to offer!
Anthony Toffrion Ocean Lakes HS, VA 11th DL #83	Toffrion, 5'11.5 283, won the DL MVP. Toffrion bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times and used his power to excel during 1 on 1's.
Greg Maloid Kempsville HS, VA 11th OL #81	Maloid was awarded the OL MVP. At 5'10.5 244, Maloid ran a 4.9 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, was tough and pushed hard during 1 on 1's.
Jaquay James Northeastern HS, NC 11th DL #57	James, 5'11.5 226, was the Strongest Man award winner. James tossed up 185 lbs 24 times, had a 28.5 inch vertical and ran a 4.66 shuttle.
Tevin Johnson First Colonial HS, VA 11th RB #56	Johnson was the co-Strongest Man. A powerful running back at 5'6.5 225, Johnson bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times.
Gaston Ledford Bethel HS, VA 11th LB #84	Ledford won the Leadership Award. The 5'8.5 192 lb linebacker kept the rest of the athletes pumped up, hustled throughout the day and lead by example.

DURHAM, NC 11TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Sherman Ragland III Southern Durham HS, NC 11th WR #34	Ragland was the man of the hour after winning the Overall MVP. At 6'0.5 184, Ragland had a 35 inch vertical, 9'7 broad jump, ran a 4.25 shuttle, 4.50 40 and starred during 1 on 1's.
Garrett Leatham Middle Creek HS, NC 11th QB #50	Leatham brought home the QB MVP. A giant at 6'4.5 211, Leatham threw a great ball, had solid footwork and was a leader on the field.
Jaran Reed Goldsboro HS, NC 11th DL #85	Reed, 6'3.5 290, was awarded DL MVP. Reed ran a 4.97 shuttle and starred during 1 on 1's, using his size to his advantage.
Tyrel Bryant-Dove 71st HS, NC 11th RB #13	Bryant-Dove was the RB MVP. At 5'8.5 180, Bryant-Dove had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, ran a 4.36 shuttle, 4.48 40 and ran hard during the individual period.
Kendall Whitehead Millbrook HS, NC 11th CB #62	Whitehead, 5'9 163, won the Fastest Man award. Whitehead dashed across the field for an NFL-superstar like 4.33 40, and 4.39 shuttle. He also had a 33 inch vertical, and a 9'0 broad jump. What an athlete!
Quez Willis East Chapel Hill HS, NC 11th WR #67	Willis, 5'9.5 175, brought home the WR MVP. Willis had a 31 inch vertical, 8'7 broad jump, ran a blazing 4.21 shuttle, 4.45 40 and made a number of nice catches during 1 on 1's.
Griffin Weidele Marvin Ridge HS, NC 11th LB #93	Weidele was the LB MVP. Weidele bench pressed 185 lbs 25 times, ran a 4.31 shuttle, 8'2 broad jump, and was physical during 1 on 1's. He definitely has a lot to offer a team.
Curtis Struyk West Carteret HS, NC 11th OL #105	Struyk struck up quite an interest after winning the OL MVP. The 6'0 269 lb standout bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times and was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's,  using his power and footwork to dominate the DL.
Levi Beckett Bluefield HS, WV 11th QB #51	Beckett, 5'11 181, was sitting atop the throne after being crowned Combine King. Beckett had a 33 inch vertical, 9'3 broad jump, ran a sensational 4.18 shuttle, 4.52 40 and  tossed up 185 lbs 14 times on the bench press.
Darren Kirby Wake Forest HS, NC 11th CB #41	Kirby was a man on a mission throughout the event. The 5'5.5 144 lb standout won the DB MVP after jumping 30.5 inches in the vertical, 8'11 on the broad, running a 4.38 shuttle, 4.49 40 and locking down the WR's during 1 on 1's.
James Harris Wake Forest HS, NC 11th RB #36	The hard hustling Harris won the Leadership award. Harris, 5'6.5 159, consistantly pushed himself to the max, had an 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.21 shuttle, 4.55 40 and did a nice job during 1 on 1's. Is there anything else you could ask for?
Andre Montgomery Goldsboro HS, NC 11th RB #85	Montgomery was the Strongest Man at the combine. At 5'9 220, Montgomery bench pressed 185 lbs 29 times, had an 8'7 broad jump and ran a 4.38 shuttle. He has impressive strength and athleticism without a doubt.
Nick Rogers Southern Nash HS, NC 11th OL #99	Rogers shared the Strongest Man award with Montgomery. The 5'11.5 271 lb Rogers also bench pressed 185 lbs 29 times.

Juwan Moye Gardner HS, NC 10th RB #63	Moye, 5'7.5 154, brought home the Overall MVP. Moye had a 32.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.50 shuttle, 4.49 40 and was a stud during 1 on 1's.
Tyruss Colton West Johnston HS, NC 10th WR #64	Colton, 5'11 168, was the WR MVP. At 5'11 168, Colton had an 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle, excellent hands and ran nice routes.
Kameron Knight West Johnston HS, NC 10th LB #44	Knight had one heck of a day, taking the combine by storm en route to winning the LB MVP. At 6'0 175, Knight had a 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.59 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 21 times, had great agility, good strength and a solid understanding of the game.
Casey Perry Hillside HS, NC 10th OL #103	Perry was awarded OL MVP. A behemoth 6'1.5 308, Perry ran a 5.26 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times and starred during 1 on 1's.
Jacob Ingle Walter M. Williams HS, NC 10th OL #106	Ingle was the co-OL MVP. The 6'2 274 lb standout had an 8'3 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs an impressive 31 times and performed at a high level during the individual period.
Clifton Brooks Jordan Matthews HS, NC 10th DL #97	This is definitely the camp of the big men! The 5'11 305 lb Brooks won the DL MVP after bench pressing 185 lbs 31 times and using his size to excel during 1 on 1's.
Marquis Gorham JH Rose HS, NC 10th CB #76	Gorham brought home the DB MVP. The 5'7.5 160 lb Gorham had a 30 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.60 shuttle, 4.65 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times and shut down the offense during 1 on 1's.
Demetrius Fairley Garner Magnet HS, NC 10th RB #64	Fairley won the RB MVP. At 5'10 184, Fairley had a 27 inch vertical, 8'3 broad jump, ran a 4.42 shuttle, 4.52 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 18 times and was light on his feet during 1 on 1's. Fairley is outstanding!
Chris Mangus Needham Broughton HS, NC 10th RB #61	Mangus, 5'11 169, was the Fastest Man award winner. Mangus bolted across the field, running a 4.41 40 and 4.49 shuttle. He also had a 31 inch vertical, 8'9 broad jump and worked hard during the individual period.
Chase Arrington Lee County HS, NC 9th QB #10	The QB MVP at 5'10.5 174, Arrington is likely to get chased by scouts in the near future. As a freshman competing with the sophs, Arrington threw a terrific ball, made smart choices and had awesome mechanics. Impressive to say the least.
Jacob Page James Hunt HS, NC 10th QB #13	Page was the co-QB MVP. At 5'11.5 196, Page bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times, had a strong arm, completed a number of passes and remained poised throughout the event.
Kevin Jones Middle Creek HS, NC 10th WR #10	Jones was crowned Combine King. A gifted athlete at 5'11 172, Jones had a 34 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.42 shuttle and 4.57 40.
Matt Johnson Maiden HS, NC 10th QB #23	Johnson took home the Leadership award. At 6'3 201, Johnson hustled as if there were no tomorrow, had an 8'9 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 20 times and worked hard during 1 on 1's.

Dwight Campbell C.F. Jordan HS, NC 9th DL #54	Campbell was the Overall MVP. At 5'8 231, Campbell bench pressed 135 lbs an impressive 36 times and did a great job during 1 on 1's.
Khris Francis Hillside HS, NC 9th RB #21	Francis, an all around gifted player, brought home the RB MVP. At 5'8 168, Francis had a 31.5 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.26 shuttle, 4.65 40, bench pressed 135 lbs 23 times and was an elite performer during 1 on 1's.
Demetrius Wilkins Middle Creek HS, NC 9th WR #61	Wilkins won the WR MVP. Long and lean at 6'2 181, Wilkins had an 8'2 broad jump, terrific hands, ran nice routes and worked hard throughout the combine.
Xavier Smith Wake Forest-Rolesville HS, NC 9th S #15	Smith came up with the DB MVP award after brutalizing the offense during 1 on 1's. The 6'0 165 lb Smith was a ball hawk, had an 8'3 broad jump and ran a 4.50 shuttle.
Dade Thomas Williams Lords Grove MS, NC 8th RB #7	Williams won the 8th Grade MVP. 6'0 194, had an 8'2 broad jump and quick feet, which guided him to success during 1 on 1's. Williams has nice size for an 8th grader and a bright future.
William Cockman Jordan Matthews HS, NC 9th OL #102	Cockman brought home the OL MVP. An absolute monster at 6'5.5 350, Cockman bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times and thoroughly dominated during 1 on 1's. In my many years of working with high school athletes, I have never, ever seen a freshman this big!
Jonathan Williams Wake Forest HS, NC 9th RB #12	Williams was the Leadership Award winner and RB MVP. A hard worker at 5'6 130, Williams had an 8'1 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle and had quick feet.
