Giltner football player sets career record (10/06/2009) News 5 Sports - On Friday, Giltner quarterback Nathan Most set the all–class state record for career touchdown passes. He has another record in his reach but a ring in his focus. When it comes to football it has not always been great in Giltner. "Been a lot of years where Giltner did not make the playoffs and hardly won a game," said Coach Jeff Ashby. Behind the big game arm of Nathan Most the team has been going deep both on the field and in the playoffs. "He is probably one of the most accurate long ball throwers I have ever seen. He can put it right on the money," Ashby said. Friday against Kenesaw, Most threw his 75th touchdown - the most in any class of Nebraska football history. He just did not know it. "I did not even know I was close to a touchdown record," said Most. He also became the all time leading passer in eight man history sitting just more than 700 yards away from Scott Frost's all class record. "They know who Scott Frost is and he is a legend here in Nebraska," said Ashby. Most has his sights on another goal. "Records would be nice, but having a state championship would be the greatest feeling ever," said Most. If Most does get the record he said it is for Giltner - not just him. "Make you remember the players you played with. It was not just you getting that record. They helped you get it too," Most said.

2010 National Underclassmen Combine Camp Schedule Announced

Hello Parents and Athletes,

We are excited about the 2010 events and dates and look forward to having you and your son back at the programs this year. This we are expanding everything offered to the athletes and the parents. We are added class based competition, meaning 9th graders will compete against 9th graders, 10th graders against 10th and so on. In addition, we will have an amazing combine session for the 11^th graders/Juniors  and 8^th graders are included with the 9^th graders.

We have already set most of the dates for this year (over 60) and will have ultimate 100 camps for top athletes from our NUC events. These events will be in the east, southeast, midwest, southwest, and the west. All athletes must attend an NUC event to have a chance to qualify. The Junior Classic events are now a part of the Ultimate 100 program and will bring together the best of the best. Plus our U100 Top Prospect Camp in 2009 brought together the best 15 players in each grade in each position to the University of Oklahoma. Over 50 athletes got offers within weeks of that event just from the exposure and from competing!

We have also added Combine Preparation Seminars on Fridays from 4-6pm at all locations for any athletes looking to get preparations for the training. You will have to register for that. For a limited time if you uses code "football636" you will get $20.00 off that training and $20.00 off our combines as well. The combine preparation seminars will be a hands on training to teach you all the important areas of the combine including the 40 yard dash, shuttle run, vertical jump, broad jump, and bench press. We will also go over what will take place from a 1 on 1's for your position and  your individual position periods.

Most importantly we are going to continue to interact with the college coaches and get your athletes the recognition. Our monthly emails to college coaches and phone and mailing interaction provides us with the most recognized, accurate, and most recruited athletes. Our kids get exposure to all levels D-1, D-1aa, II, and III.

I have personally seen the results as currently over 20 Rutgers players, 10 USF, 15 Texas, 6 Florida, 6 Notre Dame, 5 Oklahoma and many many more examples of our athletes having great success and getting recruited.  Current 2010 Class commitments have over 300 athletes already committed with over 500 offered D-1a and D-1aa scholarships…even better currently 12 US Army All Americans and 28 Under Armour All American Selections originally got exposure from the NUC.

Even better two athletes from our original first camp in 2005 are up for two of the biggest awards in college football. Tyrod Taylor (QB) of Virginia Tech is a Heisman Trophy Candidate and Joe Haden (CB) of Florida is a Jim Thorpe Candidate and my own Personal Star Steve Maneri (TE) of Temple is a John Mackey Award Candidate.

The greatest part, one of the original reasons I started to camp was to get underclassmen early exposure, no matter where they are and where they are from and my own personal player Steve Beauharnais, whom I coached at Saddle Brook HS his first two years was so successful on the field and at the events that he is currently a Freshman on full scholarship at Rutgers and is currently the #2 OLB. The program is working and growing every single day. We want to continue to get more athletes, more exposure to more levels.

Andrew has amazing Change of direction and acceleration with great hands that makes him a complete back. He literally is uncoverable in one on one's and takes over a game period on film, in  7 on 7 and more.

Andrew, he has a unique ability to create separation very quickly from the defender in drills and one on ones. In 7 on 7 he shows great hands, poise and space awareness...On film he is flat out fast and has great change of direction. His unique skill set has him standing out among his peers in probably the most difficult group to win an award....The RB group. he shows great scat back skill with a unique set of power perfectly suited to running the ball in the spread game. Reminds of you of a Ray Rice type but taller.

An Amazing Athlete with ridiculous athleticism and tenacity. I have seen him play DB, LB, WR, TE, RB all in the same camp and dominate. Period end of the story, probably one of the top 10 recruits in the USA for the Class of 2011, if not the top!

Further Analysis:

Colt is an amazing athlete and intense football player. He is one of the best combine testers that I have ever seen. Even better, he is also one of the best football players i have seen. At the the Top Prospect camp he ran stride for stride with RB's when he was playing LB, watched him jack up RB's trying to run routes...he then moved out and covered wide receivers...then went and played some wide receiver....if that wasnt enough he got to do some one on ones at DL. In the 7 on 7 tournament he was dominant and his tremendous on the field antics have continued with a game winning catch this year against Glen Coe and accumulated almost 300 yards of offense on several occasion. He reminds you 100% of Brian Urlacher and can do all the things he did and dare i say...maybe more! He has great feet, tremendous explosion off the ball and spectacular body control.
