Dan Davis Union Endicott HS, NY 9th LB #55	Davis, 5'11 196, took home the Freshman LB MVP award. He had an 8'2 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 26 times, has good on field instincts and made things difficult for the offense during 1 on 1's.
Jeremiah Ortiz Eastridge HS, NY 9th RB #64	Ortiz won the Freshman RB MVP. The 5'5.5 153 lb Ortiz had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.50 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 22 times, has solid hands, good footwork and is coachable.
Julien Moore St. Patrick's HS, CN 8th RB #71	Moore returned home to Canada with the 8th Grade MVP award. The talented 5'6 153 lb running back ran an incredible 4.24 shuttle and starred during the individual period. I am still in disbelief over his shuttle time!
Marcus McGill Gates Chili HS, NY 10th WR #67	McGill, 5'11.5 190, won the WR MVP and Leadership awards. An exceptional athlete with the attitude of a champion, McGill had a 32 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, caught the ball at its highest point, and has good hands.
Eli Ankou St. Peter HS, CN 10th DL #64	Ankou was awarded the DL MVP and Strongest Man awards. The 6'2.5 245 lb powerhouse had an 8'6 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, displayed good hands, quick feet and nice strength during 1 on 1's.
Kyle Corley Penfield HS, NY 10th QB #11	Corley took home QB MVP honors. The 6'1 177 lb standout has nice mechanics, a good arm and solid footwork.
Jahmah Pardner Aquinas HS, NY 10th CB #61	Pardner was a one man wrecking crew during the 1 on 1's and earned the DB MVP. The 5'10.5 167 lb Pardner did an exceptional job of covering the WR's at any range, had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump and ran a 4.41 shuttle.
Andrew Burgio Depew HS, NY 10th OL #75	Burgio won the OL MVP. A powerful 5'10.5 279 lber, Burgio fought tooth and nail with the opposing linemen during 1 on 1's and bench pressed 185 lbs 13 times.
Cory Bendetto Aquinas HS, NY 10th QB #20	Bendetto was the strongest position skill player. At 5'10.5 182, Bendetto tossed up 155 lbs 20 times, good feet and nice athleticism.
Tim Johnson Rush Henrietta HS, NY 10th WR #61	Johnson, 5'5 148, won the Fastest Man award. The speedy widout ran a 4.7 40 and 4.71 shuttle.
Pete Nesbitt Albion HS, NY 10th RB #72	Nesbitt was the co-Fastest Man. The 5'8.5 162 lb half back ran a 4.57 shuttle and 4.7 40, while jumping 9'5 on the broad.

Roman Grozman Richmond Hill HS, CN 11th OL #139	Grozman, 6'3 292, took home the Overall MVP award. He bench pressed 185 lbs 15 times, has good hands, solid lower body strength and moves well for a player his size.
Quentin Gause Bishop Kearney HS, NY 11th RB #40	A returning standout, Gause won the LB MVP and Leadership awards. The 6'0.5 205 lb standout had a 31 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.57 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times and did an excellent job during 1 on 1's. Gause also has a tremendous attitude and knows how to keep those around him motivated.
Nick Carroll Bath-Haverling HS, NY 11th CB #65	Carroll, 5'11 190, won the DB MVP award. Carroll had a 29.5 inch vertical, 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.35 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 22 times, transitions smoothly, has a great jam and solid ball skills.
Jake Podger St. Francis HS, NY 11th TE #88	Podger earned the TE MVP. The 5'10.5 172 lb Podger had an 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.49 shuttle, catches the ball well in tough spots and runs nice routes.
Jonathan Mataya Notre Dame HS, CN 11th QB #103	Mataya, 6'5 203, was the QB MVP. He throws a good ball, is patient, had good mechanics, an 8'4 broad jump and ran a 4.53 shuttle.
Nicholas Hall St. Joes HS, NY 11th RB #55	Hall won the RB MVP after a sensational performance. A gifted athlete at 5'6 169, Hall had a 33 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.27 shuttle, is athletic and quick.
Adam Pasnik St. Francis HS, NY 11th OL #87	Pasnik, 6'2.5 260, was awarded the OL MVP. Pasnik had an 8'3 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times, had good hands, nice technique and was a stud during 1 on 1's.
Mikal Coleman Sweet Home HS, NY 11th DL #75	Coleman, 5'9.5 245, was the DL MVP. He had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.46 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 22 times, displayed a good first step and nice moves. His quickness and skill make him a major threat to the defense.
Nicholas LoBrutto Aquinas Institute, NY 11th LB #35	LoBrutto, 5'7 201, was crowned Combine Kin and also won the Strongest Man award after an exceptional performance. He had a 32.5 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.30 shuttle and bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times. This is what you call an exceptional athlete!
Zach Wiley Marcellus HS, NY 11th LB #32	Wiley, 5'9.5 201, was the co-Strongest Man. He bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times, had an 8'5 broad jump and 28 inch vertical.

First Lincoln Combine a Smashing Success!

Andrew Iddings of Stevens HS was one of the many standout athletes that made the inaguaral Lincoln, NE combine a huge hit last weekend at Lincoln Southwest HS. The 6'5 218 lb Iddings proved that star athletes can truly come from anywhere, taking home the Junior Overall MVP award.

He is an exceptional athlete for his position (with a 9'7 broad jump, 27.5 inch vertical and 4.67 shuttle run to boot) and starred during the 1 on 1's. Even though he is undersized for a lineman, Iddings domainted the 1 on 1's with his quickness, athleticism and moves. Players like this make rising markets like Nebraska a definite point of return in 2011.

Jake Gentile's name serves him no justice whatsoever. The St. Albert HS standout was vicious during 1 on 1's, had great lower body movement and pro-like instincts. He was also the total package testing wise, with a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'7 broad jump, 4.39 shuttle and 4.58 40 powering his tremendous day. The 5'11 186 lb safety earned the DB MVP while capturing the eyes of many who had not previously seen him play.

Nakemm Evans (Southwest) has the looks of  a future star. The 5'11 187 lb prospect has an exceptional attitude, great work ethic and is vocal. Athletically, he was amongst the best, as his 32 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump and 15 reps at 185 lbs were all impressive. During the 1 on 1's, Evans battled like a soldier against the running backs and made sure that getting them the ball would nearly impossible. Evans was tops at his position and definitely opened up a few eyes at the combine.

Bender Dominates Sophomore Combine!

Tavarius Bender of Lincoln Southwest HS claimed the Overall MVP and Leadership awards after topping a solid sophomore session. He has great size for a QB at 6'2 196, and is an exceptional athlete. Bender's testing numbers were off the charts, as few QB's can claim a 34.5 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump and 4.47 40. During the 1 on 1's, he was in complete control, throwing a number of solid passes while taking his time.

Marco Naughton (St. Albert) is 6'0 271 lbs of mean. The standout d-lineman was an absolute force during 1 on 1's,  consistently beating the OL's, bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times and had an 8'0 broad jump. Naughton's athleticism is very good for a player of his stature and he stops at nothing to get to the QB.

Dylan Gartner and Gunner Peterson Run Freshman Session!

Gothernburg's Dylan Gartner is an elite level freshman without a doubt. At 6'2.5 251, many would assume he is an upperclassmen, but regardless of age, few could doubt his status amongst the elite. Gartner was an absolute force during the 1 on 1's. He had a great stance, exceptional footwork and nice lower body strength, which enabled him to shut out the d-linemen during the always competitive 1 on 1 sessions.

Gunnar Paterson (Lincoln Southwest) has a great name for a QB and better yet, knows how to play the game. At 6'4 177, Peterson has tremendous height for a freshman, a very good arm, is quick on his feet and was in complete control. Although a good weight lifting program could help him out in the long run, his frame and arm strength should make him a big time prospect in the near future.

After their first ever combine, the aforementioned standouts proved that Lincoln football is no joke.

Dillon Gartner Gothenburg HS, NE 9th OL #77	Gartner, 6'2.5 251, won the Overall MVP and OL MVP awards. In addition to having a great attitude, Gartner has a great stance and terrific foot work, which guided him to success during the 1 on 1's.
Gunnar Peterson Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 9h QB #33	Gunner Peterson; the QB MVP. Has a nice ring doesn't it? The 6'4 177 lb Peterson has a good arm, maintained control during the 1 on 1's and displayed good footwork.
Tyler Wrive Papillion-Lavista HS, NE 9th CB #80	Wrive, 5'5.5 159, won the DB MVP and Fastest Man awards. He had an 8'5 broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle, 4.77 40, bench pressed 135 lbs 20 times, controlled the WR's during 1 on 1's and has good quickness.
Josh Coyle West Holt HS, NE 8th RB #61	Coyle, 5'9 172, was awarded the 8th Grade and RB MVPs. Coyle had an 8'2 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 21 times and was an elite performer during the 1 on 1's.
Ryan Carstenson Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 9th LB #74	Cartenson was awarded the LB MVP. The 5'9 159 lb Carstenson is quick and athletic, did a great job of tracking down the ball and had an 8'0 broad jum.
Eric Oltman Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 9th OL #12	Oltman won the OL MVP AWARD. At 6'3 250, he had good size, bench pressed 155 lbs 17 times and held down the opposing linemen during 1 on 1's.
JJ Carngbe Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 9th WR #69	Carngbe, 6'0.5 178, took home WR MVP honors. He had an 8'0 broad jump, good speed, soft hands and a nice first step.

Andrew Iddings Stevens HS, SD 11th DL #146	Iddings, 6'5 218, won the Overall MVP award. A tremendous athlete for a lineman, Iddings had a 9'7 broad jump, 27.5 inch vertical and ran a 4.67 shuttle. He was also a monster during 1 on 1's, using his athletic abilities to pressure the o-linemen.

Tannor Mroczek Gothenburg HS, NE 11th WR #39	Mroczek, 5'10 164, was awarded the Combine King and Fastest Man awards. An exceptional all around athlete, Mroczek ran a 4.3 shuttle, 4.37 40, had a 9'5 broad jump and 33.5 inch vertical.
Zach Martin Lincoln Southwest HS, NE 11th OL #147	Martin was the co-OL MVP. A gigantic 5'11.5 310 lbs, Martin bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, had great leverage on his opponents and good hands.
Raecheim Logan-Martin Omaha North HS, NE 11th RB #118	Logan-Martin earned the RB MVP award. The 5'7.5 172 lb prospect had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.5 shuttle and did a nice job during the individual period.
Chris Kitchen Burke HS, NE 11th CB #70	Kitchen shared the RB MVP with Logan-Martin. At 5'6 154, Kitchen had a 31 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.62 40, runs nice routes, displayed good hands and solid all around quickness.
Calvin Kenney Riley County HS, KS 11th WR #122	Kenney, 6'0.5 190 was awarded the WR MVP. A terrific talent, Kenney had a 35 inch vertical, 9'10 broad jump, ran a 4.65 shuttle, had tremendous hands, gets off the line quick and has slick moves to shake off the db's.
Matt Raymond Elkhorn HS, NE 11th WR #71	Raymond, 5'9 158, won the co-WR MVP. He had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle, runs crisp routes and made some nice grabs.
Matt McLeay Omaha Creighton Prep HS, NE 11th QB #52	McLeay, 6'0 189, was awarded the QB MVP. He had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, had a strong arm, was accurate and a natural born leader
Brandin Bryant Omaha North HS, NE 11th LB #43	Bryant, 6'0.5 229, won the Strongest Man award. He had an 8'6, ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times, is a strong athlete and has the potential to become a good DL.

Jordon McCallister; The King of KC

At 6'0 300 lbs, Junction City HS' Jordon McCallister is hard to miss. Few athletes his age can claim to be his size and even less can place themselves at his level skill wise. For the second consecutive year, McCallister starred at an NUC event, this time taking home the Overall MVP award.

The monstrous offensive lineman moves far quicker than his 300 lb frame suggests, he has tremendous strength (bench pressing 185 lbs 31 times), nice hands and very good technique. During the 1 on 1's, he was in control throughout, putting the d-linemen down every time they stepped up. With his senior year still to come, McCallister has interest from ten D1 programs including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas and Vanderbilt.

Wesley Leftwich (Hickman) was also a big time winner at the junior combine, taking home the Combine King WR MVP and Fastest Man awards. At 6'1 194, he had a 38.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.30 shuttle, 4.51 40 and bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times, thus is exceptionally gifted. During 1 on 1's, he was in the zone, beating the DB's off the line and always creating enough space to catch the ball comfortably. He is headed to the University of Missouri in 2011 and looks to be a good fit for their offense

Marquise Cushon (Raytown South) is undersized at 5'8 155, but has the heart of a lion. He fought tooth and nail with the WR's during 1 on 1's, playing physically against much bigger players. Cushon also displayed good closing speed and nice footwork in addition to running a 4.38 shuttle and jumping 9'5 on the broad. If he grows in his senior season, there is a shot he can make some serious noise.

The Jameel and Jamaal Cox Show!

Brothers Jameel and Jamaal Cox of Raytown South HS are mirror images of one another. Aside from being virtually impossible to tell apart, both are around 5'8 220 and play linebacker. Skill wise, there is minimal, if any difference between the two. Both had terrific field vision, played passionately, excellent footwork and jumped around 8'7 on the broad, while running a 4.6 shuttle en route to sharing the Overall MVP award. Raytown definitely gets two for the price of one!

Ondre Pipkins (Park Hill) is a physically imposing 6'2 319 lb d-lineman with the skills to pay the bills. He has great quickness for somebody his size, good lateral movement and strength (bench pressing 185 lbs 21times). Pipkins was a force to be reckoned with and is worth looking out for.

Trent Hosick Dominates KC Frosh session!

Trent Hosick (Homeschoold) placed himself in a rare group of players to win four awards, taking home the Overall MVP, Combine King, Strongest Man and Leadership honors. With a 32 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, 4.40 shuttle and by bench pressing 135 lbs 40 times, The 5'11 194 lb sensation proved to be worth the price of admission.

During the 1 on 1's, the gifted QB threw an awesome ball, displayed solid footwork, made smart choices and is a natural born leader. Hosick also has an exceptional work ethic and only wants to improve, which is scary if you think about it.

Haiwatha MS' Peyton Newell is yet to enter high school, but is already headed in the right direction. The 6'0.5 221 lb d-lineman won the 8th Grade MVP and was the strongest 8th grader we have ever seen. He bench pressed 135 lbs 39 times, displayed great hip movement, has excellent attention to detail and nice moves off of the line. Newell has MAJOR potential.

Jameel Cox Raytown South HS, MO 10th LB #125	Cox earned the Overall MVP. The hard working 5'8 217 lb linebacker had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 31 times and starred during the 1 on 1's. He has great vision, good footwork and plays with passion, making him an elite level performer.
Jamaal Cox Raytown South HS, MO 10th LB #126	They say like father like son; like mother like daughter, but in this case, it was two brothers that were eerily similar. Jamaal Cox, 5'8.5 221, shared the Overall MVP with Jameel after a terrific performance. In addition to playing the same position and being almost identical in both height and weight, Cox had an 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 34 times and did a great job in 1 on 1's.
Ondre Pipkins Park Hill HS, MO 10th DL #134	A monstrous 6'2 319 lber, Pipkins stood tall after winning the DL MVP. Pipkins bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times, is fast for his size, moves well up field and has terrific power.
Nick Jones Rockhurst HS, MO 10th QB #51	Jones earned the QB MVP award with a terrific performance. The 6'2.5 Jones threw a nice ball, displayed terrific footwork, has a pro-like release and is patient. He also had an 8'6 broad jump and ran a 4.62 shuttle.
Morgan Steward Staley HS, MO 10th RB #25	Steward staked his claim amongst the elite after winning the Combine King award. The athletic 5'10 183 lb running back had a 32 inch vertical, 9'3 broad jump, ran a 4.48 shuttle, 4.54 40 and bench pressed 155 lbs 21 times.
Cameron Morrison North Kansas City HS, MO 10th CB #20	Morrison, 5'7 138, earned the DB MVP award. Morrison had a 32 inch vertical, 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle, 4.55 40, is a good all around athlete and plays physical.
Keron Evans Imagine Renaissance HS, MO 10th WR #17	Evans won the WR MVP. The 5'10 150 lb standout had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.69 shuttle, made a number of nice catches, has a great first step off the line and good technique.
Christian Eatherly Rockhurst HS, MO 10th OL #90	Eatherly, 6'5.5 245, won the OL MVP. He has good feet, is very lengthy and works hard.
Mustafaa Rose Raytown South HS, MO 10th RB #43	Mustafaa rose up during the combine and took home the RB MVP. The 5'9 144 lb prospect bench pressed 155 lbs 20 times, ran a 4.69 40, is quick on his feet, changes direction well and runs hard.
Kyle Zimmerman Blue Valley HS, KS 10th QB #33	Zimmerman, 5'11.5 160, was the co-QB MVP. He had an 8'3 brad jump, ran  4.42 shuttle, tremendous footwork,  nice release, is a natural born leader and listens at all times.
Michael Meinert St. Josephs Central HS, MO 10th OL #86	Meinert, 6'2.5 259, was the co-OL MVP. He bench pressed 185 lbs 27 times, gives a great effort, is strong and is difficult to get past.
Brett McMakin Blue Valley West HS, KS 10th DL #94	McMakin, 6'2.5 193, took home co-DL MVP honors. McMakin ran a 4.75 shuttle, is fast off the ball, plays hard, has good hands and good lower body movement.
Duan Johnson Shawnee Mission Northwest HS, KS 10th RB #58	Johnson earned the Leadership award following an admirable performance. The 5'8 165 lb standout had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.68 shuttle, is vocal, ran his tail off throughout the event and led by example.
Willy Gray Ozark HS, MO 10th RB #49	Gray, 5'9.5 188, was the strongest position skill player. The powerful running back bench pressed 155 lbs 38 times and had an 8'3 broad jump.
Logan Mahan Manhattan HS, MO 10th CB #17	Mahan won the Fastest Man award. The 5'7.5 148 lb speedster ran a 4.22 shuttle, 4.50 40, had an 8'8 broad jump
Nathanael Lohn Homeschooled, MO 10th DL #91	Lohn, 6'2 230, was the Strongest Man award winner. He bench pressed 185 lbs 30 times and was also a solid athlete, jumping 8'9 on the broad.
