NUC Alum-Storm Johnson, Loganville HS, GA Class of 2010-Headed to Miami

Storm Johnson, Loganville HS, GA Class of 2010:

Johnson fittingly took the 08’ Atlanta combine by storm, wowing coaches with his talents. Johnson has good speed (he runs a 4.5 40) and solid strength (maxing out at 370 lbs on the bench press), thus is difficult to stop. He is tremendous at juking defenders and breaking free down the sideline for big gains. The Storm committed to Miami in November, choosing to join the Hurricanes over Florida State, North Carolina, Penn State, Oregon and Tennessee among others. Storm was a two time NUC RB MVP and on our u100 List.

Future Outlook:

At 6’1 217, Johnson has solid size to go along with his strength. His ability to break free and take off in the open field makes him a player to look out for immediately. While a starting job as a freshman at Miami could be a bit out of reach, expect to see Johnson on the gridiron as a situational back in ’10.

Football Live U Know --RADIO SHOW w/ Coach Schuman and Mcgoo

Football Recruiting For HS is Upon us

NUC Alum-NUC Alum Showcase-Robert Crisp, Athens Drive HS, NC Class of 2010-Commit to NC State

National Underclassmen Combines Showcase Alums
888-NUC-MVP-1

Robert Crisp, Athens Drive HS, NC Class of 2010:

Crisp was one of the best O-linemen from the 08’ combines, earning an invite to the prestigious Ultimate 100 Camp. Crisp has tremendous quickness for a player of his stature (6’7 299), running a 5.31 40 and 5.22 shuttle. His technique is first in class, making him a blue chip lineman. He committed to North Carolina State last April, turning down offers from elite programs such as Miami, South Carolina Georgia and Tennessee, along with other notable schools such as Michigan, Clemson, Virginia and Boston College.

Future Outlook:
From quickness, speed, technique and power, Crisp has all the tools to become an elite lineman. Expect Crisp, a nationally rated five star recruit, to see some PT in 10’ for the Wolfpack.

NUC Alum-Barry Bostic, Jefferson County HS, GA Class of 2010: Committed to Georgia Tech

888-NUC-MVP-1
NUC Alum-Barry Bostic, Jefferson County HS, GA Class of 2010: Multiple Offers  D-1a
Bostic is a quintessential athlete and was one of the top players to come out of the storied Atlanta combine in ’08. Bostic was off the charts at the combine, wowing our coaches with his 35.5 inch vertical, 9’9 broad jump, 4.53 40 yard dash and 4.32 shuttle run en route to receiving an invite to the Ultimate 100 Camp. He graduated in December from Jefferson County HS and is currently enrolled at Georgia Tech. The 5’10 180 lb standout also receiver offers from Maryland, UCLA, Wake Forrest, West Virginia and Vanderbilt among others.
Future Outlook:
Bostic will likely have to put in a lot of time learning the playbooks before he can become a key contributor for the Yellow Jackets. With that said, Bostic has terrific breakaway speed and a knack for breaking through the gap, therefore should see time fairly quickly as a kick or punt returner.

NUC Alum-Lamarcus Joyner, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL Class of 2010-Committed To FSU

Lamarcus Joyner, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL Class of 2010-Committed To FSU

Joyner was one of the NUC’s elite performers back in 08’ at the Miami Combine. Joyner, now 5’8 166, had a 9’10 broad jump, ran a ridiculous 4.33 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times and starred during 1 on 1 drills in an all around jaw dropping performance at the event. Joyner, a star d-back and kick returner at national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, committed to Florida State in December. FSU was one of more than 20 major D-1 programs that attempted to land Joyner.

Future Outlook:

Joyner is an absolute monster in the open field. His explosiveness and quickness are second to none, making him a strong candidate to return kickoffs for FSU as a true freshman. He is undersized for a DB, but should see action his first year since he can flat out play football.

Top Prospect Alert: Troy Robinson, Mifflin HS, OH Class of 2012

Troy Robinson, Mifflin HS, OH Class of 2012: Robinson was an good performer at the Ultimate 100 camp in Indianapolis, taking home the prestigious Dodie award. Robinson, 5’7.5 141, is a solid defensive back and caused plenty of frustrations for the offense. He is also a good offensive player with solid moves and tremendous blocking ability for a player his size. Robinson epitomizes the meaning of team player.

Future Outlook: At 15 years old, Robinson needs to get much stronger, but has plenty of time to develop. He has a terrific understanding of the game on both ends of the ball, but must continue making strides to have an impact at the next level. He has reportedly been invited to camps at major D-1 universities and is undoubtedly a terrific talent.

Potential Top Prospect:Giles Chapman, Monte Vista HS, CA Class of 2011:

Top Prospect Analysis

Giles Chapman, Monte Vista HS, CA Class of 2011:

Chapman was one of the NUC’s elite performers in 09’, taking home the Combine King in Fresno and WR MVP at the Los Angeles Ultimate 100. Chapman went on to hone his talents at the exclusive Top Prospect Camp and the 2010 US Army All-American game. The 5’6, 144 lber can play multiple positions and is a terrific athlete. At the U-100, Chapman impressed coaches with his 30-inch vertical, 9’3 broad jump and 4.1 shuttle run, while also displaying tremendous talents as both a WR and DB.

Future Outlook: Chapman is a terrific student athlete and all a coach could ask for. This hard working athlete has a 3.7 GPA and has displayed kind of determination any successful team can ask for. His pure talent and athleticism have drawn interest from Dartmouth, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Rutgers and Wyoming among others. His overall role at a D-1 level school remains to be seen due to his lack of size. With that said, I have little doubt he will contribute at a d-1 level in one-way or another.

NUC TOP PROSPECT SLEEPERS PART THREE: THE OVERLOOKED STAR- DIonte Sullivan, wide receiver

Top Prospect Sleepers
By Coach Schuman

Dionte Sullivan

Dionte Sullivan: WR, O'Fallon, IL,
He has no offers D-1a, but he made the catch of the year at the U100 Top Prospect Camp, was in the top 5 of his Top Prospect Camp for Rising Seniors and is 5-11, 190 stud.

He is overlooked due to overcoming a tragedy to his body as a sophomore, but he is healthy, happy and unstoppable. Watch his film, he is a definite D-1 prospect. He has spectacular hands, runs great routes and has great field presence with very deceptive speed. He was WR MVP at U100 midwest
