T0P PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Desmond Jackson, DL, CLASS OF 2011

Desmond Jackson, Class 2011: DL, 6-1, 264, Westfield, TX

Quick Writeup:
The best pure DL in the USA in the class of 2011 in my opinion. He is a natural 3 technique, with great speed and amazing explosion off the ball...He hurts guys period and has a tenacity and pure physical playing style that is unmatched.

NUC DL MVP-Houston
U100 Camp Top DL-Southwest
U100 Top C0-DL-Top Prospect Camp
Stats: 5.1 40, 25 inch vertical, 28 reps on 185 bench

Further Analysis:
Desmond cannot be stopped in one on ones...period...slowed down is the best to hope for. He is powerful and fast but it is his amazing handwork and the ability to create quick separation from his offensive counterpart that separates him. He is stout enough to handle the run, plug gaps and shoot em as well, but he is real dangerous one on one with a guard or tackle in pass rush. His hands are relentless and his power is overwhelming. He does have to continue to work on his footwork, but it is quick and will get better with more work. If i was starting a DL my first draft picks would be #1 Desmond Jackson, #2 Connor Myers.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Connor Myers ,DL, Class of 2011

Connor Myers, Class 2011: DL, 6-0, 264, Edmund Memorial, OK

Quick Writeup:
Pure and relentless Connor Myers, has a ridiculous motor with great hands. He is very difficult to stop and as a 3 tech or Nose he could be one of the best in the class of 2011 in the southwest

NUC DL MVP-Tulsa
U100 Top C0-DL-Top Prospect Camp
Stats: 5.2 40, 25 inch vertical, 8-8 broad, 26 reps on 185 bench

Further Analysis:
Connor is a guy that when you look at him is to not know him. He is deceptive large and deceptively fast, and even more deceptively strong.  His hand speed and footwork is amazing and he has been virtually unstoppable in every combine camp he has attended. Along with Desmond Jackson of Westfield HS, I believe Connor is entrenched as one of the top DL in Texas. He is slightly shorter than the tallest of DL athletes, but he is only 16 and has all the tools to grow and become superior. he should be one of the hottest and best recruits for 2011 on DL. His motor is something that is very hard to replicate and he has it!

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Cameron Nwosu ,LB, Class of 2010

Cameron Nwosu, Class 2010: LB/S, 5-8.5, 225, Klein Forest, TX

Quick Writeup:
Cameron is one of the most fierce LB's in texas and has freakish instincts for getting to the ball and making plays happen. He is a straight football player who is completely dominant all the time.

NUC LB MVP-Houston
U100 Top LB-Southwest
Stats: 4.67 40, 28.5 inch vertical, 8-8 broad, 28 reps on 185 benc

Further Analysis:
Cameron is undersized height wise for LB, but i do not need to point out that so was Dat Nguyen (Texas A & M)-Dallas Cowboys, Zach Thomas (Texas Tech)-Miami Dolphins, and Dexter Coakley (Appalachian State)-Dallas Cowboys, were also undersized (height) linebackers who did amazing things. Cameron is in the same mold of the NFL lbs, instinctive, quick, physical and just flat out makes plays. He has excellent speed and it is deceptive, I watched him take two pick 6's to the house in 7 on 7 at the U100 camp. He just finds the ball. On film, he is sideline to sideline and is always around the ball, causing fumbles, tipping passes and making plays. Committed to Rice, he is a student academically and brings all the leadership intangibles as well. One of my favorite combine players of the year and he brought his skills right to my attention at the Houston National Underclassmen Combine Event. He put player after player in the ground in one ones just in the bump and run portion of coverage. Guys could not get off the line, it was amazing to see.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Tony Andres ,LB/S, Class of 2010

Tony Andres, Class 2010: LB/S, 5-10.5, 185, Hightower, TX

Quick Writeup:
Tony is one of those hybrid athletes that can play speed outside linebacker or strong safety. He has tremendous athleticism and football skills and have watched him lock down RB's in one one's without them catching a pass. He was the top LB at the Top Prospect Camp from an athleticism standpoint, he looks to me to be more of a SS type in college.

NUC Overall MVP-Houston
U100 Top LB-Top Prospect Camp
Stats: 4.65 40, 30.5 inch vertical

Further Analysis:
Tony is a definite D-1a prospect but the question is where. He plays LB on one of the better programs in the Houston area, but is more likely to be a Safety on the next level, unless he joins a program running the 3-3-5 where he would be perfectly suited to play the rover position. Very Physical, very quick he has the athleticism to get it done on the field and coming from a program that in 2009 put out two D-1 LB's , Tony should be the next one in line. Amazing footwork and change of direction and a great acceleration to the ball are tremendous assets to Tony getting the job done.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Devon Hocutt ,LB, Class of 2011

Devon Hocutt, Class 2011: LB, 6-0, 256, CE Ellison HS, TX

Quick Writeup:
Devon is a straight beast, Physical and freakishly athletic for a guy who weighs 256. Great footwork, speed, and power for an MLB.

NUC LB MVP-Dallas
U100 LB MVP-Southwest
U100 Top LB-Top Prospect Camp
Stats: 4.8 40, 4 8-5 broad, 28 inch vert, 38 reps on 155

Further Analysis:
Devon is also among the Best LB's for the class of 2011. Shoot, he would be listed as one of the best DL as well if he was a Defensive Lineman, but lets discuss him as an LB. Good speed, great athleticism for 256 and sideline to sideline capability, whats not to love. He can cover rb's very well and he can bump them right into the dirt. He has great power and ball skills, he has offers already from number big 12 schools and expect more to come. Tenacious, fierce and a straight baller. He makes plays in one on one's and on 7 on 7's in the camps and then on film...well get film on him he is a killer.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Trent Martin ,LB, Class of 2011

Trent Martin, Class 2011: LB, 6-2, 219,  Jenks, OK

Quick Writeup:
Trent, is one the best athletes i have seen at Linebacker in the five years i have been doing the combines. His athleticism coupled with his sick football instincts, puts his one of the Top LB's in the USA for 2011.

NUC LB MVP-Tulsa
U100 Dodie Donnell-Southwest
U100 Top LB-Top Prospect Camp
Stats: 4.9 40, 4.5 shuttle, 8-5 broad, 28 inch vert

Further Analysis:
Ok, lets take a break from his amazing skills at LB. His wide Receiver skills are amazing. This is how good an athlete Trent is....in the 7 on 7 tournaments in the u100 southwest and the u100 Top Prospect camp, he and Kareem Jackson single handindly dominated on Offense, yes Trent could not be stopped on offense, great hands, athleticism, spacing and route running, as good as any receiver. Now back to Linebacker he is physical in bump and run with RB and can run with them athletically, he does get outrun in a flat sprint by rb's in one on one's but that is to be expected. He has great ball skills and amazing power. Plus he has a great frame for an LB, long arms, lean build but yet he carries 218 pounds when he was a soph. Trent is as good as it gets period.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Damontre Moore ,DL, Class of 2010

Damontre Moore , Class 2010: DL, 6-5, 227 Rowlett, TX

Quick Writeup:
Damontre has a 4.9 40, a 9'2 broad, a 31 inch vert, amazing reach and great quickness off the ball. He has the ability to rush and get his hands on you and control the situation due to his long arms and speed. The DL MVP at the u100 Top Prospect Camp

and with numerous combine kind and DL MVP throughout the NUC and U100. Damontre has used his great athleticism to dominate the competition.

Further Analysis:
A prototypical Defensive End prospect, this outstanding pass rusher has great speed to get by the defender. he uses his hands well, but it is his feet that does most of the work. A great athlete he uses his speed and quickness to win in pass rush. With a 6-5 frame he will get to 250 to 265 with out gaining an ounce of fast. He had some epic battles at the Top Prospect camp with Bronson Irwin (with bronson winning most of them). He enjoys competition and has shown to be a guy who can step it up over and over again. He will need to gain more strength and muscle in college so he can add more skills to his rep.  Committed to Texas A and M and he will continue to be a sought after community after his stellar combine season and his great start to his final HS season

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Rashod Knight ,LB, Class of 2010

Rashod Knight, Class 2010: LB, 6-0, 218, Liberty HS, PA

Quick Writeup:
Rashod's pure strength and instincts make him an unbelievable LB prospect. He was the U100 East Junior Day LB MVP. A great leader and motivater, his exceptionally instincts and good athleticism with 9ft broad and 4.8 40 makes him a prime time ILB prospect.

Further Analysis:
Completely dominant at the u100 camp and a complete beast on film. He on numerous occasions knocked slots and LBs into the stands in 7 on 7  on his bump and run coverage. He was also athletic enough if they did get off the line to cover them, resulting in PBU's. His film at Liberty shows a great ability to scrape and great instincts on one of the best teams in PA. Quick Writeup:
OL MVP in West Texas Event, Margarito was in the top three at the U100 Southwest and the U100 Top Prospect Camp. With excellent technique and footwork, Margarito has the tools to be an excellent lineman. a tad slow with a 5.83 40, his lack of pure footspeed is made up for with his quickness.

Further Analysis:
a 2nd team all state selection in 2008 as a junior, now a senior expect first team all state from an athlete who plays at the highest level in Texas. He has the technique, the tools, and the coaching to be a great player at the next level. He must improve his speed and athleticism, but his quickness and balance is tremendous.
