TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Bronson Irwin, OL, Class of 2010

Bronson Irwin, Class 2010: OL, 6-5, 322, Mustang, OK

Quick Writeup:
Bronson's footwork, technique and strength was dominant at the u100 Top Prospect Camp OL MVP. He is committed to Oklahoma and was also the NUC Tulsa OL MVP in 2008.

Further Analysis:
He is no doubt one of the best OL in the USA. His footwork is deceptively quick. He has a remarkable pass set and does a fabulous job staying square in his kick slide in order to never overcommit himself to the defensive lineman. He has amazing body control and times his punches and slides perfectly in step to give himself optimum positioning on defenders, allowing him to rarely lose against a pass rusher. With his excellent athleticism for a Big man, he zone run block remarkable well and has a great base for such a tall individual.

As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.

GUEST WRITEUP- ANTHONY CENTRELLA of the NUC, Wide Receivers Coach, u100, NUC and Top Prospect Camp.

Derrick Bobo, Class 2012: Safety, 5-7.5,170, Whitehaven High School,  TN

Quick Writeup:
Derrick Bobo is an exciting athlete from the safety position as he plays very physical and has a great on field awareness for the game.  He has been very successful at the National Underclasssmen Combine and the Ultimate 100 Camp taking home the Defensive Backs MVP at each event that he attended.  He has a 5.04 40 yard dash, 4.73 pro-agility shuttle, 8'3" broad jump, and a 28 inch vertical.

Further Analysis:
Derrick is a very versatile safety that has the ability to cover like a defensive back and play phyisical and tackle like a linebacker.  He has a naturally ability to read the Quarterback's eyes which allows him to make the big plays.  He also has the ability to run with receivers and go up and defend passes at their highest points.  With the combination of Derrick's big time play making ability and the excellent program he plays for at Whitehaven High School, Derrick will emerge into a big time recruit.

I dont grade guys based on stars or scores, I rate them on whether they can play!

GUEST WRITEUP- ANTHONY CENTRELLA of the NUC, Wide Receivers Coach, u100, NUC and Top Prospect Camp.?

Kyle Bolin, Class 2013: QB, 6-1,160, Lexington Catholic,  KT

Quick Writeup:
Kyle Bolin stepped up into the spotlight at the National Underclassmen Combines and the Top Prospect Camp this season competing only as an 8th grader.  Kyle also started in the Army All-American 8th grade game in San Antonio, Texas.  He has a 5.22 40 yard dash, 4.46 pro-agility shuttle, and an 8'0" broad jump.

Further Analysis:
Kyle has displayed picture perfect mechanics with his drop steps, throwing motion, and release at each level of the NUC which was one reason why he went onto to win the Quarterback MVP at each event.  He is your prototypical quarterback that flashes great leadership abilities and a strong desire to learn more about the game.  Kyle does not only have tremendous mechanics but he also has a strong arm, excellent ability to read a defense, great communication skills, and is tough mentally.  If Kyle continues to progress in this direction of success he will find himself receiving Division 1-A offers from many big time Universities.

LARAMIE, Wyo. -
Wyoming true freshman quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday.
He won the award outright this week, after sharing the honor with TCU quarterback Andy Dalton a week ago. He becomes the first Wyoming Cowboy on offense, defense or special teams to earn MWC Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks since the league began in 1999.
This past week, he led the Wyoming Cowboys to a come-from-behind road win at Florida Atlantic, highlighted by a 12-play, 91-yard, winning touchdown drive with 4:29 remaining in the game. On the final drive, the true freshman from San Jose, Calif., rushed for 28 yards and passed for 18 yards, accounting for half (46 yards) of Wyoming's 91 yards on the scoring drive. On the day, Carta-Samuels accounted for 292 yards of total offense -- 223 passing and 69 rushing. He completed 76.3 percent of his pass attempts on the day (29 of 38), and had a quarterback rating of 120.35. He gained a total of 99 yards rushing, but due to three sacks ended up netting 69 rushing yards. Carta-Samuels led Wyoming on scoring drives of 47 yards, 59 yards, 80 yards on two different drives and 91 yards. UW tied a season best by scoring 30 points versus FAU. Carta-Samuels connected with seven different Cowboy receivers on the day, and guided Wyoming's offense to 421 yards of total offense.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Brian Mills, RB, Class of 2010

Brian Mills, Class 2010: RB, 5-10, 180, Edmond Sante Fe, OK
Quick Writeup:

A pure speed demon, he ran 4.45 as a frosh at our camps and went on to run 4.39. He also was the fastest man 3 times at the NUC and U100 Camps, which is an amazing accomplishment. Great pure speed he is a major RB threat

Further Analysis:
His recruiting has suffered a little because of injuries at the end of his sophomore and last year as a junior, but he was a 1000 yard rusher as a sophomore and has amazing speed. He is a threat to go the distance anytime, great burst in drills, and has good hands. His explosion is unmatched, he just needs to gain more muscle to handle the size of every day RB duties. He is a definite sleeper prospect who is a nice slot/scat back at the D-1 level. I like his speed and he is well worth it for that!

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Dante Lipscomb, RB, Class of 2010

Dante Lipscomb, Class 2010: RB, 5-11, 180, Boswell HS, TX
Quick Writeup:
a great athlete with a 4.63 40, 4.38 shuttle, 30 inch vert, he is incredibly fluid in and out of his cuts and has great hands in 7 on 7  to go along with his pure athleticism. He was rated the #4 RB at the U100 Top Prospect Camp.
Further Analysis:
Clearly his pure athleticism and fluidity are the key to his success, he dominated out of the backfield in 7 on 7 in both the u100 southwest and the U100 Top Prospect Camp in Oklahoma. He has a great feel for the game and where the creases are and how to get up in those creases. He has a very good burst and could also play DB. He is a steal for any college and already holds two D-1a offers.
